Here are some of my photography projects that I've worked on over the years. I love the journey of brainstorming creative concepts and capturing creative moments through photography.

O&K Magazine
Above this is a section of a series of photographs that I took during a summer photo shoot, as well as a concept for a print magazine. This is a personal passion project focused on creating magazine layout covers. I spent a lot of time on this project, specifically in selecting the right typography and colours for optimal readability.
Valora Commercial
While I was a student in the journalism program at Mount Royal University, I published several articles in The Calgary Journal, a local student newspaper. I captured all the photographs and wrote the articles. Writing involved finding local stories to tell, conducting research, and interviewing individuals for these narratives. Using the photographs I took, I created layouts that were prepared for print for the monthly issue.
Videography
I had a fantastic time working with three other amazing members of our group to put together this fun video! We came up with a creative project to create a short commercial for a fictional lip gloss brand we called Valora. I had the fun task of brainstorming the concept and designing the logo for the brand! During production, I took the lead on lighting, handled set decoration for one of the scenes, and got behind the camera for some shots. Then, in post-production, I was responsible for choosing the music and sounds.
Mylynn Lam Beauty Tips
This is a video I made back in my undergrad where I covered an exciting story about a talented local Calgary make-up artist, Mylyn Lam. She was showing off the latest lip kit from Bite Beauty.
